Curriculum & Discussion Resources
The Church Home is committed to changing the conversation on aging … and it begins with conversation. Our curriculum resources are intended for use in small groups, whether in religious congregations, in senior living communities, or among friends. Unless clearly indicated otherwise, every series is non-sectarian and designed for participants of any faith background or none.

The Spirituality of Aging
A six-session series on themes of identity, connection, purpose, loss, change, and joy. Each session includes a poem and essay for group discussion. This non-sectarian curriculum includes supplemental material for Christian congregations.
Caregiving for Ordinary People
Caregiving is important work—but also frequently thankless, exhausting, and lonely work. This six-session series invites caregivers to find community and share the full range of emotions that come with caring for a loved one.
Telling the Small Stories
What was your first job? How about the first album you ever owned? Often, we focus on telling the “big stories” of our lives. This six-session series incorporates time for journaling and invites participants to share the small stories.
